Dale Ahlquist is President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, creator and host of the EWTN series “G.K. Chesterton: The Apostle of Common Sense,” and Publisher of Gilbert Magazine. He is the author of six books, and has edited eleven. He is a Senior Fellow of the Chesterton Library at London, and has been called “probably the greatest living authority on the life and work of G.K. Chesterton.”
Dale has given more than 900 lectures at universities, conferences, and other institutions, including Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Notre Dame, Oxford, the Vatican Forum in Rome, and the House of Lords in London.
He is also the co-founder of Chesterton Academy, a top-rated Catholic classical high school in Hopkins, Minnesota, which is the flagship of the growing Chesterton Schools Network, which includes nearly 50 high schools in the U.S., Canada, Italy, Iraq, and Sierra Leone.

I was born and raised in north Spokane, educated in the Mead school district and attending Mass, religious education, and youth group at St. Thomas More.  I attended Washington State University and graduated in 2002 with a degree in Human Resource Management, then earned my Master's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing in 2004.  I entered seminary at Bishop White in January 2006, then went to the Catholic University of America for theology, graduating there in 2011.  I was ordained to the priesthood on May 26, 2011, serving my first year as a priest at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.  From July 2012 to June 2017, I was pastor of three rural parishes in southern Stevens County.  From July 2017 to June 2019, I was pastor at St. Peter on the South Hill.  In July 2019, I began my ministry as pastor at St. Mary in Spokane Valley.

As a speaker, Dr. Curran has given over 2000 presentations to more than 350,000 people in 35 states and 6 countries. He specializes in many topics, including the Sacraments, marriage and family, evangelization, and the Holy Spirit. For over 15 years Dr. Curran has been the host of a Catholic weekday radio show and podcast that airs on more than 10 stations and reaches tens of thousands of Catholics online.

Dr. Curran is the author of five books including The Mass: Four Encounters with Jesus That Will Change Your Life, which was listed on Top 10 Catholic Bestseller List. His second book, Confession: Five Sentences That Will Heal Your Life, has sold over 10,000 copies.

Dr. Curran received his PhD in systematic theology from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., a graduate degree in theology from the Gregorian University in Rome, and has an undergraduate degree in philosophy. Tom lives in Eastern Washington with his wife, Kari, and their nine children.
